Working professionals are looking to switch their jobs in 2024 in the UAE major factors include limited career progress, Uncompetitive Pay, Raising Cost of Living among the top three factors.
Candidates consider salary as the biggest influencer while looking for a new job. But 48% Candidates prefer a healthy work-life balance
Candidates feel the need to learn new skills and upskill themselves to Gen AI. Thus factoring the openness to AI and a need to upskill to be future ready. Majority of respondents feel Gen AI will make their jobs easier and more productive
Candidates are highly optimistic about the UAE job market. High job market optimism is observed in industries such as Information Technology, Software Services, Retail and Luxury, Transport and Logistics, this is fueled by ongoing digital adoption, consumer buying behavior and UAE’s growing economy.
Employers have maintained their salaries and bonus structure with no changes in Q1 and Q2 in 2024, while 24% companies have increased salaries, 5% companies have added housing bonus and 10% offered annual bonus in Q1 and Q2 of 2024.
