Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RCMA)
Location: Bayonne, New Jersey 07002
Pay: $24.3/hr
Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Schedule: 5 days per week
Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
Interview Process: In-person
Patient Intake & Documentation:
Greet and process incoming patients.
Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and visit notes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Vaccination Administration:
Administer vaccines per clinical protocols.
Ensure proper documentation and monitor for post-vaccine reactions.
Maintain vaccine inventory and monitor storage conditions, including daily fridge temperature checks.
Laboratory Testing:
Conduct rapid diagnostic tests including COVID-19, Influenza, Strep, and RSV.
Prepare samples for send-out testing as needed and document results appropriately.
Urine Collection:
Perform urine collection procedures while following strict infection control and patient privacy protocols.
Label and process specimens for laboratory submission.
Clinical Logs & Maintenance:
Maintain daily logs including lab test logs, vaccine logs, and equipment maintenance records.
Ensure exam rooms are stocked and cleaned between patients.
Active certification as CMA, CCMA, or RCMA.
Proven experience in:
Patient processing and clinical documentation.
Administering vaccinations and documenting appropriately.
Performing diagnostic lab testing and urine collection.
Managing vaccine storage requirements including temperature logs
