Mechanic 310T/S

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic 310T/S for a Full-Time role based in Port Perry, ON. The position offers a salary of $73,000 to $79,000 per annum. Responsibilities:  

• Performing repair work on heavy trucks and light-duty pickup trucks.

• Inspecting bulldozers, excavators, skid-steers, and other heavy construction equipment for proper performance.

• Diagnosing faults and malfunctions using computerized and manual testing equipment.

• Adjusting and repairing equipment, replacing defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.

• Testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and adherence to manufacturers’ specifications.

• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

• Participating in MTO yearly safety inspections.

• Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with team members and clients.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a mechanic.

• Licensed 310T/S Mechanic certification.

• Proficient in working with internal combustion engines (diesel and gas).

• Excellent diagnostic skills and familiarity with computerized testing equipment.

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment.

• Capable of handling routine maintenance tasks and identifying faults quickly.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

• Own hand tools up to 3/4”.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Available for occasional on-call emergencies.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to handle early start times.

• Quality-driven with a strong focus on precision.
