FLT Driver Immediate Start

Job: FLT Driver
Location: Camelford
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, 40 hours/week Monday - Friday, 1 hour lunch per day
Type of Employment: Temporary only - Set end date TBC

Due to the urgency of this role, you will be asked to provide Rights to work and Certificates to proceed following a call.

Are you an FLT driver who lives in or around Camelford and is able to start an immediate position as a FLT driver?
If you have an in date FLT licence and from an external provider (meaning your certificate is not an inhouse one) this role could be for you.

My client is in need of someone happy to commit to a position in which they would be expected to end in Mid may at the moment, so this is a temporary opportunity. Should anything change you will be informed prior to this date. The chosen candidate will still need to have all rights to work and be asked to provide certificates of who they have obtained their FLT with upon submission

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance Forklift to -
  
  
  
  • Offloading deliveries from lorries
  
  
  • Offloading chemicals / IBC's (100L containers/drums on pallets)
  
  
  • Organize cardboard deliveries, work alongside other FLT Driver to offload and store away as a team
  
  
  
  


• General stores duties and manual handling as required


• Housekeeping in stores area where needed

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

• Active Counterbalance FLT license required*


• Experience using Counterbalance FLT to load/unload stock


• Experience with manual handling, complying with H&S on-site
