Our client, an innovative educational organisation, is seeking a Temporary Research and Enterprise Project Manager to join their dynamic team at their Wolverhampton City Campus.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead multiple complex research and enterprise projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

  • Manage direct and matrix-based project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve exceptional results.

  • Oversee financial management, ensuring budgets are balanced and commitments are clear.

  • Plan and manage resources effectively, ensuring projects have the necessary skills to meet objectives.

  • utilise top-notch communication skills to influence project direction and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Foster external relationships with suppliers, funders, and project partners, enhancing the organisation's visibility and networking opportunities.

  • Implement best practises in project management, continuously improving processes and principles.

  • Support the ongoing development of project management capabilities within the organisation.

Essential Skills:



  • Substantial project management experience in the higher education sector.

  • Solid understanding of the demands, opportunities, and issues in delivering successful projects in a large, complex organisation like a university.

  • Ability to explain complex research and enterprise funding and contract issues in an understandable manner.
