Branding and communication

Like most business objectives, positive change and developing a diverse workforce requires a strategic and methodical approach.

The key aim when working to improve diversity is for actions to influence and shape change and this requires internal advocates and ambassadors.

Our approach to establishing loyal, trusting and transparent relationships with internal and external audiences starts with understanding what needs to change.

We work with our clients to understand the complexities of their needs and we develop a strategy that will instigate and deliver their ED&I goals through changing and influencing the perception of their brand.

Our strategies cover channels such as social media and online streaming platforms, which open opportunities for the use of influencers which are becoming more important when thinking about how we communicate to candidates. We deliver campaigns that influence hard to reach and diverse audiences through partnerships, digital and out of home activity.

Training

Knowing how to avoid and minimise unconscious bias during the recruitment process is a vital skill for any hiring manager. Once learned, these skills can be used to positive effect when managing teams and delivering recruitment processes. We support our clients by designing and delivering training that develops hiring managers awareness of unconscious bias. Our training equips hiring managers with the skills, tools and best practices they need to carry out fair and objective assessments.

The two types of training we offer are ORCE Assessor training and Unconscious Bias Training which can be delivered face to face or via video. This can be integrated with existing learning management systems. All our training is designed and delivered by our Chartered Occupational Psychologists. By helping to identify the training needs of our clients teams and delivering bespoke training programmes, we work towards our goals of creating an inclusive future of work.

We are in the unique position of being able to offer our clients the key learnings and training opportunities that we practice internally. Our approach to working with our clients is one of collaboration and partnership and is why we are proud to share our training expertise.

Assessment

Adecco’s assessment practice has been developed over many years, working with clients across all types of industries. Our team includes Chartered Occupational Psychologists who support our clients with best practice assessment solutions.

When we start working with a client, we begin with a thorough review of their existing practice. We identify where we can make improvements, with the goal being to increase attraction and strengthen retention of the best talent.

We confidently deliver a service to our clients that combines expert knowledge and experience. Our tests are validated to ensure that benchmarks do not suggest adverse impact for any demographic minority group and our materials are developed to ensure there is less possibility of personal unconscious bias. We produce bespoke assessments when necessary and advise on standard best-practice ‘off the shelf’ solutions if appropriate.

Assessment solutions can appear similar in their execution, but our output is always tailored to each individual clients’ needs. It is thanks to our size, resources and experience that we able to deliver assessment solutions for our client’s today which help build the workforces needed for tomorrow.
